AND PROJECT MANAGER
@THE FILM FESTIVAL DOCTOR & LONDINIUM

I've worked with Dr Rebekah Louisa Smith of The Film Festival Doctor since 2017. Rebekah has twice featured in Forbes, won thousands of awards for clients, is a published author, a Doctor of Philosophy and an exceptionally gifted expert in her field. She has also been a mentor and dear and loyal friend to me since 2015.

The international film festival circuit is an incredibly complex space to navigate. It is often the initiation point for filmmakers seeking to make a name for themselves, generate interest, create audience buy-in, and eventually secure funding.

My experience on the circuit, combined with my background and training, has put me at the forefront to detect counter-cultural movements that are impacting, or beginning to impact the world of film.

Rebekah is a pioneer in her niche and has played a significant role in my journey through film and in the service of my own niche. I look forward to seeing you this year on the international festival circuit.

Londinium Cont.

WRITER

At Londinium we work with scripts and screenplays at various stages in both film and gaming. From ideation and concept creation, development including structure or character, simple doctoring, as well as book and play adaptations. We also manage and consult on other projects, including EPKs, pitch decks for funders, and we’re regularly called in for treatment development.

My experience in production and project management, fused with my academic background, lends itself to clients through consulting, as well as writing. My critical, analytical and artistic convergence has provided me with a unique vantage point. I offer a multi-lens analysis of a project and I dissect, develop and execute pragmatically - without corrupting or diluting artistic vision. Understanding the various worlds within worlds, has made me a translator, particularly during author-driven projects.

CONSULTANT

The 'development stage’ within the filmmaking process has become increasingly neglected. The rise and drive of streamers has relegated ‘development’, particularly of ‘story’, into a commodified-luxury within the industry, as opposed to a necessary and vital process. An obfuscation of ‘The Arts’ role and place within the filmmaking process has ensued and correlates to a decrease in quality output.

Quality of ‘story’, as an industry issue, is only just beginning to be discussed among funders and programmers on the international film festival circuit. A pragmatic and sustainable approach to remedy felt necessary.

Le Bon was born to aid in ‘the expedition of being’. It is a developmental tool for writers and creatives and offers a solution, which seeks not only to revive the role of ‘The Arts’ within the filmmaking process but completely redefine it. The method encourages the process itself to develop the artist and/or filmmaker reciprocally - as any creative endeavour should.

Le Bon Method is also applicable to other industries and processes alike. If the creator is nurtured during the process of creation, quality output increases.
